Job summary

STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) is seeking a Materials Coordinator/Inventory Specialist in Columbus, OH. This local onsite role supports material accountability, storeroom operations, and yard storage.

The position requires at least 1 year in inventory control or warehousing, experience with Maximo and MS Office preferred, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Hours are Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with OT as needed.

Qualifications

1+ year experience in inventory control, warehousing, or related field.
Maximo or similar inventory software experience preferred; Excel/Word knowledge helpful.
Strong logistics knowledge related to shipping and relocating inventory.
Basic math skills required; ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
Must lift up to 70 pounds; PAT requires physical ability; valid driver's license; operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Issue materials with proper authorization and file related records.
Inspect received material for quantity, identity, and condition; file records.
Identify, sort and record material returned; update stock and scrap materials.
Operate inventory systems and standard office equipment for records.
Prepare and pack material for shipment or storage; include shipping papers and hazardous material handling.
