Job summary

Our client in Canonsburg, PA seeks a Material Planner with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or 2+ years of related experience. The role is 100% onsite, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

Supply chain degree OR hands-on experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
On-site work requirement in Canonsburg, PA.

Responsibilities

Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support production schedules.
Determine material allocation priorities based on production schedules and demand.
Create purchase requisitions within ERP and communicate urgent needs.
Monitor material availability and notify teams of shortages or changes.
Maintain inventory accuracy through ERP transactions and cycle counts.
Support procurement with planning insights to the buying team.
Organize and issue material and job kits for manufacturing operations.
