This is an on‑site role based at our Denver, North Carolina facility, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

This position plays a critical role in the day‑to‑day execution of manufacturing operations, ensuring raw materials, components, and subassemblies are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost to support production schedules and customer demand. The role is deeply involved in material planning, inventory management, production scheduling, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement on the shop floor. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, is detail‑oriented, and enjoys being directly connected to production activities and material flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage end‑to‑end material planning and production scheduling for manufacturing operations.
  • Plan, release, and adjust production schedules based on sales demand, capacity, and material availability.
  • Execute material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and expedite materials as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Perform regular inventory reviews, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Work directly with production supervisors and operators to resolve material shortages, bottlenecks, and line stoppages.
  • Coordinate inbound material deliveries, staging, and point‑of‑use availability on the shop floor.
  • Analyze production output, material consumption, and demand trends to improve planning accuracy.
  • Identify root causes of production or material delays and implement corrective actions.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including Kanban systems, JUNJO sequencing, and Kaizen improvements.
  • Maintain accurate ERP data related to BOMs, routings, inventory locations, and lead times.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Sales teams to ensure alignment across operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and operational standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in material planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, inventory control, and shop‑floor execution.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles in a production environment.
  • SAP experience required; experience with warehouse or inventory management systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable production plans.
  • Effective communicator who can work cross‑functionally with production, suppliers, and leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize, problem‑solve, and make decisions in a fast‑moving manufacturing setting.
