RTX is seeking a Material Handler at our US-NY-Clayville site. You will move and manage materials onsite using powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) and support operations with timely material flow.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 25 pounds, and the discipline to follow CORE and EH&S guidelines. The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:00pm (4x10) with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-operation inspections of powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
• Operate various PIVs to transport materials within the facility.
• Support departmental needs by picking up scrap materials for reclamation, delivering supplies, and packaging materials for shipment.
• Carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position, to support department objectives and skill development.
• Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.
• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate inbound and outbound material handling.
• Lift and transport materials weighing up to 25 lbs. independently.
