Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Foundational experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering or material handling.
• Practical knowledge of CAD software for reviewing or developing drawings.
• Strong Excel skills for organizing and analyzing data.
• Experience applying data analysis to identify process inefficiencies and support improvements.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and material handling processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate to practical improvements.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement, lean, and waste-reduction principles.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration with engineers, manufacturing staff, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of material handling equipment and sequencing carts.
• Coordinate with external suppliers during equipment design and production phases.
• Evaluate storage configurations, conduct rack and parts audits, and improve space utilization.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and materials teams to optimize material flow.
• Maintain PFEP documentation to support material planning and logistics processes.
• Create and maintain engineering docs, process instructions, and project records.
• Apply industrial engineering principles to reduce waste and improve workflows.
• Use CAD to support equipment layouts and process improvements.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Contribute to standardized material handling practices and safety improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement practical plant-wide improvements.
