Job summary

Faith Technologies in Pittsboro, IN is seeking a Material Flow Specialist to analyze and optimize material movement within our manufacturing operations. You will identify bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement to improve throughput and layout efficiency.

You will monitor inventory against production schedules, coordinate replenishment, and leverage ERP/WMS tools to maintain accurate records and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of material flow, logistics, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Assess current material handling processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline material flow, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design optimal layouts for material storage and movement.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure alignment with production schedules and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Coordinate with procurement and materials teams to manage material replenishment and storage solutions.
• Utilize ERP/WMS systems to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with product development and procurement teams to plan material requirements for new OEM product launches.
• Work with engineering and operations to develop layout updates, workstation configurations, and internal logistics pathways to optimize space and movement.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align material flow strategies with overall business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to implement best practices in material handling.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
• Provide training and support to team members on new processes and systems.
