Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. seeks a Material Buyer to manage procurement for PAC-3 programs in Grand Prairie, TX. You will develop POs, solicit supplier quotes, and negotiate terms to ensure on-time delivery and best value.

The role requires coordinating with multiple internal teams, maintaining SAP records, and driving procurement actions under established authority. On-site presence is required with potential for increased on-site days as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from Accredited university.
• 2 years experience in procurement and/or overseeing clients/suppliers.
• 2+ years experience using Microsoft Office, SAP.
• Strong communication, written & verbal.
• Procurement/Commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• US Citizenship Required, position is not able to support anyone with Dual Citizenship of another country.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services to support PAC-3 procurement execution.
• Prepare bid packages, solicit and evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and award PO within authority.
• Coordinate with SEMAC, GSC, Engineering, Quality, Finance and suppliers to minimize schedule risk and optimize value.
• Process PO changes, maintain SAP data, track supplier commitments, and support delivery recovery actions.
