Advisors Excel is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to turn complex marketing and media data into clear insights. You will partner with Strategic Marketing Coaches and cross-functional teams to build dashboards, analyze campaign performance, and deliver reporting that helps financial advisors improve marketing results.

This on-site role in Topeka, KS requires data-driven problem solving and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, BI, or related field.
• Proficiency with SQL and handling large, complex datasets.
• Experience building dashboards/reports with Power BI, Sigma, or similar BI tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing analytics projects through data preparation, validation, and dashboard development.
• Load and refresh data, maintain tables, and perform data hygiene and quality checks.
• Build and maintain reports/dashboards in Power BI, Sigma, or similar BI tools.
• Analyze marketing performance across digital, broadcast, email, CRM, and web analytics.
• Write SQL queries to extract, join, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Manage marketing data within the data lake, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Develop reporting that measures marketing effectiveness with Strategic Marketing & Performance Coaches.
• Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests for Strategic Marketing, Digital, Media, and Creative teams.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and data anomalies; provide actionable insights.
• Maintain documentation for marketing metrics, data definitions, and reporting processes.
• Continuously improve reporting, dashboards, and data quality for informed decisions.
