Advisors Excel seeks a Strategic Marketing & Performance Coach to design marketing strategy and coach the advisors who run it. You will translate goals into clear, repeatable plans spanning TV, radio, and digital, then partner to ensure execution and measurable return.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on coaching, from building a lifecycle framework to guiding advisors through numbers and adjusting course. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys strategy and people interaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in strategic marketing or performance‑focused client roles.
• Ability to translate business goals into structured marketing strategies.
• Experience coaching clients on marketing execution and performance improvement.
• Strong lifecycle marketing knowledge: acquisition, nurture, conversion, referrals.

Responsibilities

• Build lifecycle marketing roadmap with sequencing, channel mix, and KPIs.
• Coach advisors one-on-one across TV, radio, and digital.

Position: Strategic Marketing & Performance Coach

Reporting to: Lead Strategic Marketing & Performance Coach

Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite

Overview

As a Strategic Marketing & Performance Coach, you will design the marketing strategy and coach the advisors who run it. Working directly with independent financial advisors, you will translate their business goals into clear, repeatable marketing plans that span Advisors Excel’s TV, radio, and digital platforms, then partner with them to make sure those plans get executed and produce measurable return.

This role is a blend of strategic thinking and hands‑on coaching. One day you are building out a lifecycle framework, the next you are walking an advisor through their numbers and adjusting course. What You’ll Do

• Build the Marketing Strategy – Assess an advisor’s current setup and performance, then turn their business goals into a lifecycle marketing roadmap with clear sequencing, channel mix, and success metrics.
• Coach Advisors One‑on‑One – Run regular coaching sessions across TV, radio, and digital to review results, refine strategy, reinforce best practices, and keep advisors accountable to the plan.
• Turn Data Into Direction – Analyze CRM, campaign, email, and media performance to spot trends, set KPIs and benchmarks, and give advisors recommendations they can actually act on.
• Partner With Internal Teams – Work closely with digital production, content, automation, and R&D so the strategies you design can actually be executed.
• Build Tools That Scale – Create playbooks, assessments, and coaching materials so strong strategy gets applied consistently instead of rebuilt from scratch for every advisor.

Experience You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in strategic marketing, advertising, marketing consulting, or performance‑focused client roles.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into structured marketing strategies and frameworks.
• Experience coaching or consulting clients on marketing execution and performance improvement.
• Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, including acquisition, nurture, conversion, and referral.
• Comfort interpreting marketing performance data and turning it into recommendations clients understand.
• Strong communication skills, the ability to influence without direct authority, and the organization to manage several advisor relationships at once.

Bonus Points

• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience working with financial advisors or professional services clients.
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRMs, and media performance reporting.
• A background in agency, consulting, or coaching‑oriented environments.
