Job summary

FW Murphy Production Controls, a Dover Precision Components company, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are met. This role partners with Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Quality to maintain efficient workflow, meet customer requirements, and resolve production issues.

The supervisor provides leadership through employee coaching, performance management, scheduling, and timekeeping oversight

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of supervisor experience.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• 3+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Planning to execute production schedules.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure materials are available and delivered on time.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor daily production performance and elevate concerns as needed.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate employees to promote accountability and high performance.
• Maintain accurate employee timekeeping and attendance records.
• Foster a safe, productive, and continuous improvement-focused work environment.
