The Safety Specialist – Oxford Operations at Epsilon provides hands-on safety leadership for the Oxford manufacturing facility. This role serves as the primary on-site resource and collaborates with Plant Manager, Production leadership, HR, Quality, and safety peers to create a safe, compliant environment.

Responsibilities include leading safety walks, developing JHAs/JSAs, training employees, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of safety experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
• Experience conducting safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Experience investigating workplace incidents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with hourly employees, supervisors, and management.
• Independent work with direction from safety management.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary day-to-day safety resource for the Oxford facility.
• Maintain a visible safety presence across the manufacturing operation.
• Conduct routine safety walks, inspections, and observations.
• Identify unsafe conditions and hazards and communicate them to leadership.
• Assist with corrective actions to address unsafe conditions and behaviors.
• Promote safety ownership and a proactive safety culture.
• Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analyses, JSAs, SOPs, and safe-work practices.
• Support safety audits and regulatory inspections.
