Job summary

Epsilon’s Oxford Operations is seeking a Safety Specialist to provide hands-on safety leadership at the Oxford manufacturing facility in Alabama. The role works closely with Plant leadership to establish and maintain a proactive safety environment, implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and training employees.

Qualifications

• Hands-on safety leadership for a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to conduct inspections, trainings, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day safety resource for the Oxford facility.
• Conduct safety walks and inspections to identify hazards and safe practices.
• Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), SOPs and safe-work practices.
• Assist in evaluating safety requirements for new equipment, processes and modifications.
• Maintain safety documentation and support safety audits and inspections.
• Promote a strong safety culture through collaboration with Operations leadership.
