Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our Decatur, IL site. This full-time role balances factory floor and office work, and supports a small team of quality engineers on site.

You will lead corrective actions, drive RCCA, apply Six Sigma methods, and partner with Manufacturing Engineering to strengthen built-in quality and continuous improvement across the production process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• OR 5+ years with an Associate's degree.
• Knowledge of quality standards in manufacturing.
• Experience applying 8D or similar structured problem-solving techniques in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Office 365; strong analytical skills.
• Ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-driven, collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely corrective actions for customer and internal quality events across disciplines.
• Inspect and contain nonconforming product; drive RCCA with data communication to factory quality teams.
• Serve as ambassador and sub-workstream lead for Built-in Quality (E2E).
• Lead quality improvement projects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage internal and external customer relationships with Manufacturing Engineering teams.
• Apply Six Sigma tools to analyze and resolve quality issues.
