Onward Search is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an onsite role in Lancaster, PA. The engineer will support plant operations through process upgrades, equipment optimization, and project management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

The position involves developing SOPs, analyzing processes, troubleshooting equipment, and creating engineering and safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience, especially in food or beverage environments.
• Knowledge of automated production equipment such as PLCs, servo systems, and VFDs.
• Strong data analysis skills and experience with process optimization.
• Ability to work onsite in Lancaster, PA, lift up to 50 lbs, and spend significant time on the production floor.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement standard operational procedures to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency across production lines.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for enhancement and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process failures utilizing structured root-cause analysis methods.
• Create and update engineering and safety documentation, including SOPs and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Support capital projects by coordinating with vendors, participating in equipment testing, and assisting with project execution.
