Job summary

Triton Metal Products, a Hamilton, Indiana based metal fabricator, seeks an onsite Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement. You will design and implement manufacturing systems, equipment, and procedures to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and strong experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, CAD/CAM, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a engineering discipline or related field.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation systems.
• Experience with lean/Six Sigma methodologies and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current processes to identify improvement areas and reduce waste.
• Design, implement and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to integrate new processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and FMEA to prevent issues.
• Document procedures, work instructions, and equipment specs.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma methods.
• Train personnel on new processes and safety protocols.
• Monitor yield, cycle time, and scrap; take corrective actions.
