Broan-NuTone is offering a Manufacturing Engineer Intern role in Hartford, WI. The intern will support daily department activities, assist project work, and drive process improvements while gaining hands-on experience in a professional setting.

The role targets students in engineering (manufacturing focus), emphasizes analytical thinking, data interpretation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in CREO and AutoCAD is preferred; schedule is onsite, full-time during summer.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Engineering degree with Manufacturing focus, currently a Sophomore or Junior.
• Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Investigate manufacturability/equipment issues caused by design and variation; propose and validate solutions.
• Develop and implement Autonomous Maintenance documentation for critical automated equipment.
• Support ME in the development and implementation of Standard Work (WI, Process Sheets, Checklists).
• Utilize time study methodologies (MOST, MTM).
• Collaborate with engineering to complete projects improving productivity and reducing costs.
