Job summary

Broan-NuTone LLC in Hartford, WI is seeking a Project Engineering Intern to support day-to-day department activities, develop prototypes, and lead new concepts in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. You will create simple 3D CAD models in Creo, update designs, participate in testing, and gain mentorship while contributing to real projects from June through August onsite.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or recent graduate seeking practical experience.
Basic knowledge of mechanical devices and electromechanical components.
Strong English communication and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Participate and/or lead creating innovation concepts, develop prototypes, and lead evaluations.
Create and revise 3D CAD models/assemblies and 2D drawings in Creo.
Update designs as directed by a Sr. engineer and modify products.
Perform simple engineering design tasks and calculations using standard techniques.
Assist in standard testing and analysis of test results.
Prepare summaries of meeting notes, tasks, and tests.
Manage Engineering Change Notifications (ECN’s) through the workflow.
