Collins Aerospace in Largo, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support multiple depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center. The role involves developing manufacturing documentation, processes, and work instructions, and providing on-site production support from initial factory introduction through sustaining activities.

You will report to the Largo Manufacturing Engineering Manager and work with design, process, and program teams at RTX facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 2+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
• Experience with military/industry standards.
• Experience with disposition of nonconforming material using root cause analysis.

Responsabilités

• Follow procedures to meet program and site targets.
• Verify technical and manufacturing data and perform safety assessments.
• Assist in creating work cell layouts for product flow.
• Plan and document tooling and fixtures.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Collaborate across functions on policies and practices.
• Leverage experience to advance technical and managerial career paths.
