Job summary

RTX is seeking interns, co-ops and full‑time engineers to join our aerospace and defense teams in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will interpret drawings, analyze design tolerances, evaluate test equipment, and support capacity planning while learning to use SAP, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, eView and PDM.

Active pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM, with root cause analysis experience and hands‑on project work, is required.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related STEM major through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Background in Root Cause Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interpretation of drawings and specifications.
• Analyze and resolve design tolerance issues.
• Evaluate, select, and order capital test equipment, including performing cost/payback analysis.
• Support capacity planning and utilization analysis to ensure proper staffing and test equipment needs.
• Identify and address routine test defects and improve test yields.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve test failures.
