Job summary

RTX is seeking interns/co-ops and full-time engineers to support manufacturing at the Cedar Rapids site. You will help manage equipment layout, work sequences, and workflows while learning to apply SAP, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, eView, and PDM in real-world projects.

Gain hands-on experience with high-frequency communications hardware, develop skills in root cause analysis, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams in a structured training environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related STEM field.
• Background in Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience can come from on-the-job experience, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing processes by managing equipment, layouts, sequences, instructions, procedures, and workflows.
• Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, and inventory to reduce costs.
• Review products and processes for quality, safety, and producibility risks and work with design teams to mitigate them.
