Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of its properties, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

You will handle work orders, make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory tracking, and detailed documentation. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, plus a valid driver’s license for on-site tasks.

Qualifications

• Essential maintenance skills and ability to diagnose and repair building systems.
• Ability to follow safety policies and OSHA-related requirements.
• Experience coordinating with vendors or contractors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Make-ready process for vacant units including pre-move-out inspection and punch list creation.
• Track inventory, handle supplies, and notify supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Complete documentation for service requests to enable proper tracking.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
• Attend safety meetings and follow risk-management policies.
• Periodically inspect contractor work to ensure quality and compliance.
