Job summary

Revlon Manufacturing & Distribution in Oxford, NC is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair varied equipment and systems with strong root cause analysis.

The role requires 40+ hours per week onsite, with a schedule of 6:45am to 3:15pm. Candidates should have experience with filling/assembly equipment, be able to read schematics, and lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits include health coverage and 401k.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5-10 years in industrial/manufacturing or a two-year technical degree with relevant experience.
• Experience with filling and assembly equipment and systems.
• Ability to read calipers, tape measures and angle gauges.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Must pass assessment tests.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate and complete job assignments promptly.
• Operate shop equipment (mills, lathes, saws, etc.).
• Interface with outside vendors to place supply or part orders.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair filling and assembly equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical schematics.
• Perform mechanical PMs during operation or downtime.
• Ensure GMP, USDA, and safety compliance.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas.
