Job summary

Revlon in Oxford, NC is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair equipment, optimize line performance, and support continuous improvement. You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, work with hydraulics and pneumatics, and coordinate with vendors.

This is an onsite, full-time role requiring 40+ hours per week and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The base pay is $32.00 per hour, with potential bonuses based on performance and location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year technical degree with relevant experience also acceptable.
• 5–10 years in industrial/manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Experience with filling and assembly equipment and systems.
• Ability to operate power shop tools safely and effectively.
• Willingness to work 40+ hours/week and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plans, initiates and completes job assignments in a prompt and timely manner.
• Operates shop equipment (mills, lathes, saws, etc.).
• Participates in project management including line layout, installation and start-up.
• Interfaces with outside vendors for supply or parts orders.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on filling/assembly equipment and conveyors.
• Troubleshoots hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication and other mechanical systems.
• Ensures safety, GMP and USDA compliance; maintains accurate maintenance records.
• Read and interpret mechanical schematics; train as needed.
• Travel as needed and work with minimal supervision in a team setting.
