Job summary

Farbman Group is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to join our team at a commercial property. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to keep the facility safe, functional, and well maintained for tenants and staff.

Responsibilities include inspections, preventive maintenance, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical repairs, and coordinating with vendors. The role requires independent work, strong communication, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial property maintenance or related field.
• Working knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide professional service to tenants.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building issues.
• Complete general repairs, including painting, drywall, carpentry, and door hardware.
• Respond promptly to tenant service requests and maintenance emergencies.
• Monitor building systems and report issues requiring additional attention.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, equipment status, and supplies.
• Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable building codes.
• Communicate regularly with the property manager and supervisor regarding maintenance needs and completed work.
