Job summary

Baxter Brewing CO LLC in Maine seeks a hands-on maintenance technician to keep the brewery, restaurant, and warehouse running safely and reliably. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and keep accurate records and budgets.

This role thrives on variety: you’ll switch between mechanical, electrical, and administrative tasks, coordinate with brewers and contractors, and work in a converted 1850s mill with opportunities to grow alongside a community‑minded brewery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance or related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older at time of application.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining pneumatic systems, air compressors, hydraulic systems, mechanical power transmission, pumps, gearboxes, valves, heat exchangers.
• Demonstrated computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute a preventive maintenance schedule using CMMS software.
• Perform preventive maintenance on brewing, cellaring, packaging, warehouse, and office equipment.
