Job summary

Yards Brewing Company is seeking a Brewery Maintenance Technician to support safe, efficient operation of brewing and packaging equipment. Join a hands-on team responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety‑minded, and committed to keeping equipment reliable. The role requires collaborating with production and quality teams on repairs and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience maintaining production machinery and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, motor controls, sensors, and PLC diagnostics is a plus.
• Experience in brewery, food & beverage manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair brewery and packaging equipment (conveyors, pumps, valves, bearings, drives, pneumatics).
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on brewing, cellar, filtration, kegging, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct electrical and controls troubleshooting per qualifications; escalate complex repairs.
• Maintain maintenance records using MaintainX or the listed system.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO, PPE, sanitation.
