Job summary

Left Hand Brewing Company in Longmont, Colorado, is seeking a hardworking maintenance technician to join our righteously independent brewery. The role requires a passion for craft beer, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

You will perform PMs, repairs, and capital projects on process equipment, facilities, and fleet, respond to after-hours calls, and keep CMMS data up to date.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong mechanical vocabulary and repair experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Carpentry/construction experience preferred
• Knowledge of brewing and packaging processes preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter and team player
• Previous maintenance or manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Performs PMs, work orders, and capital projects on process equipment, facilities, and fleet as directed by the Maintenance Manager
• Executes repairs immediately in the event of safety or equipment failures
• Responds to after-hours maintenance calls as scheduled
• Ensures facilities are safe, clean, organized, and presentable to the general public
• Reviews and updates Asset Essentials CMMS software daily
• Maintains safe, clean, and organized work areas
• Ability to lift 55lbs repeatedly and up to 75 lbs occasionally; maneuvers heavy items including 165 lb kegs as needed
• Maintains forklift certification
