Job summary

Heritage Construction and Maintenance Company is seeking an on-site maintenance technician for a high-rise condominium in the Decatur area. The role will oversee construction and maintenance needs, be client-facing, and receive support from the corporate office.

Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience across construction, maintenance and repairs, with skills in carpentry, drywall, electrical basics, painting, siding, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in construction, maintenance, and repairs
• Physically able to perform duties
• Carpentry skills required
• Drywall hanging/finishing experience preferred
• Basic electrical wiring knowledge
• Interior/exterior painting experience
• Experience with molding and trim work
• Siding and exterior maintenance experience
• Vendor management responsibilities
• Ability to work with limited supervision or lead crews

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Handle emergency maintenance tasks as they arise.
• Oversee and schedule vendors for facility operations.
• Lead or assist with small crew supervision as needed.
• Carry out janitorial/porter duties as assigned.

Heritage Construction and Maintenance Company is currently looking for an On site maintenance technician for a high rise condominium in the Decatur area This position will be responsible for overseeing that communitys construction and maintenance needs Position will be client facing and will receive support from the corporate office Seeking a highly skilled construction worker with a diversified skill set and experience in all areas of home building construction and maintenance Minimum of 2 5 years of experience in building maintenance Certifications in maintenance related field is preferred

Duties Responsibilities & Essential Skills

Candidate should have the following experience and should be able to perform the following types of work At least 4 years of experience in all areas of construction maintenance and repairsCandidate must be physically able to perform dutiesCarpentry skillsHanging and finishing sheet rockElectrical to include basic wiringPainting of interior and exterior walls ceilings trimmolding sidingCandidate must have a professional attitude and be able to work well with others under limited supervision but also alone must be dependent and complete all work in a timely mannerVendor management specialized vendors will be involved in maintain facility operations candidate will be responsible to oversee and schedule those vendors throughout the yearPosition may lead to supervising and training other workers so experience in running crews is a plus but not requiredPerform assigned repairs emergency and preventative maintenancePerform other janitorialporter duties as assigned
