RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Procurement Specialist for the Mechanical Trades Support Group in Clayville, NY. You will handle procurement activities, vendor relationships, and VMI oversight to maintain stock levels and support maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Mechanical, Electrical, and Tool & Die procurement knowledge preferred.
• Experience with vendor relationships and CMMS procurement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical/administrative support to the Mechanical Trades Support Group handling procurement and VMI oversight.
• Perform varied procurement activities with minimal supervision.
• Maintain and replenish maintenance stockroom and VMI supplies.
• Coordinate workflow with off-shift employees.
• Review drawings with engineers to obtain procurement information.
• Communicate delivery changes to suppliers and prepare POs.
