Sterling Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in Augusta, GA. You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in guiding on-site maintenance staff, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building trades.

Strong customer service and safety awareness are essential. The role requires basic technical skills, High School diploma or GED, and a background in apartment maintenance.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required or maintained.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and related diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and safety.
• Experience with plumbing, appliances, and basic building trades.
• Customer-service oriented with good communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in leading on-site maintenance staff in diagnosis of problems and repair in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and general building components.
• Ensure all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds are completed according to established procedures.
