Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Mailroom Clerk to support daily mail operations in a high-volume production environment in Oklahoma City, OK. The role requires operating printers, mail inserters and metering machines to ensure accurate, on-time outgoing mail.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, coordinating repairs with vendors, maintaining mail inventory, and supporting print tracking software, with emphasis on safety and reliable performance in a fully onsite setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mailroom Experience Preferred But Not Required.
• Ability to learn mailing, shipping, and tracking software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain production equipment.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work around loud machinery.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds when necessary.
• Ability to push equipment and supply carts weighing over 100 pounds.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must successfully pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate printers, mail inserters, metering machines, paper joggers, envelope folders and other mailing equipment to ensure outgoing mail is processed accurately and on schedule.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Operate print and mail tracking software; maintain inventory levels and process shipments.
• Support general mail center operations and collaborate with internal support teams regarding printer, network, and software-related issues as needed.
