Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an onsite Machinist/Setup operator in Wisconsin. You will perform diversified machining operations, read complex drawings, and train other employees to meet production specifications.

You will monitor tooling, ensure safety, and adhere to SOPs while maintaining quality and meeting customer due dates. This role requires leadership experience and strong communication in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Four or more years formal trades training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years as a setup operator.
• Minimum of three years leading, training, assisting co-workers.
• Ability to interact with all members of the organization, customers and suppliers; understand tooling, setup and operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction/training to other employees to develop skills and produce production parts to specifications.
• Monitor the work of other employees.
• Check specifications to determine required tooling or fixturing to perform machining tasks.
• Set-up and operate all machines in their department.
• Work from complicated assembly drawings and specifications.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Trouble-shoot machining issues and drive continuous improvement.
