Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Newington, NH is seeking a Shop Helper for the machine shop. You will assist in daily tasks, learn multiple skillsets, and support manufacturing, quality, and maintenance activities. This role reports to the Machine Shop Supervisor and is 100% onsite.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of machine shop experience. The hourly pay starts at $26.78, with benefits including medical, wellness programs, a 401(k) match, paid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of machine shop experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic work assigned by department supervisor or team coordinator to support all classifications.
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and materials.
• React to and report all safety concerns with ARC.
• Perform work promptly.
• Responsible for quality of work once trained.
• Practice proper housekeeping and observe all safety procedures and complete all Atlas training.
• This job requires some heavy lifting (25lbs), pulling and twisting.
• Perform general tasks including cleaning of offices, common areas, rest rooms, kitchens with approved cleaners.
