Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Newington, NH is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic AA for 100% onsite work. You will perform maintenance on CNC machinery and associated equipment to support manufacturing priorities and quality milestones.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, reading diagrams, installing and retrofitting CNC controls, maintaining parts inventories, and preparing maintenance reports. Requirements: high school diploma, technical certificate or associate degree in

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Certificate program in Electronics Engineering or PLC Maintenance or associate's degree in Electronics Engineering.
12 years equivalent of technical or electronic maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
5 years of advanced technical or electronics maintenance experience.
Experience with maintenance hand tools and portable power tools is necessary.
Familiarity with PPE and shop equipment including power saws, drills, hydraulic presses, milling machines and lathes, band saws, pipe threading, arc and gas welding equipment; meters, testers, switches, transformers, and digital multimeters.
Fluency with blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams and PLC logic.
Advanced familiarity with CNC programming languages.

Responsibilities

Ensure operation of CNC machinery and welding equipment; perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Troubleshoot problems by interpreting diagrams and sketches.
Use manuals and specifications to troubleshoot equipment; observe operation and use test equipment.
Remove defective components using appropriate tools.
Analyze and program CNC controls and PLCs for troubleshooting and operation.
Install/retrofit and debug CNC control systems.
Maintain inventories of parts and supplies; place orders as needed.
Prepare maintenance reports by collecting and summarizing data.
