Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join Ventana by Buckner. You will provide professional nursing care to residents, following individual service plans and assisting with daily activities.

Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to individual service plans and administer prescribed treatments.
Conduct meaningful rounds with residents and record visits on charts.
Administer injections, perform in-house testing procedures, and record vital signs.
Supervise and assign duties to nurse aides, monitor their work, and assist in the activities program.
Communicate with physicians and follow through with orders; handle medication preparation, administration and documentation.
Monitor condition of medication room, cart and refrigerator.
Chart accurately and in accordance with facility policy and state guidelines.
