Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Auburn Hills, MI to oversee receipt, inspection, storage, and movement of materials to support manufacturing projects. This full-time, onsite role requires coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, complying with shipping requirements, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and internal teams.

You’ll work with Build Team and Engineering on quality control, manage inventory, staging, and line-side

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business/logistics environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect shipments; verify quantities against POs and packing lists.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and liaise with carriers.
• Maintain inventory, staging, and line-side support for production.
• Ensure documentation for purchasing, receiving, and accounting is accurate.
