Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) required.
• 1–3 years’ experience with office equipment and basic inventory methods.
• Knowledge of modern inventory control, materials management, and asset management practices.
• Ability to work on a stock picker elevated above 30 feet and operate warehouse equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate computerized records and follow instructions.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and monitor purchase orders for equipment, furniture, and supplies; renew/cancel rental contracts; process received items.
• Track and report incoming requests; locate material in warehouse using pick tickets and put-away reports.
• Support packaging of oversized items for mail distribution and coordinate shipping via USPS standards.
• Update inventory management systems; process invoices, POs, and contracts; generate reports.
• Assist with flag processes and ensure billing accountability for flags flown over the U.S. Capitol.
