Job summary

The Senate is seeking a Logistics and Operations Specialist in Washington, DC to manage procurement, tracking, and fulfillment of equipment and supplies. You will coordinate reception, storage, and distribution of items across Senate offices while maintaining accurate records and supporting mail operations.

Responsibilities include processing POs, coordinating with PGDM and other departments, and ensuring timely delivery and billing accountability for flags flown over the U.S. Capitol.

Responsibilities

• Creates, manages, and monitors purchase orders for equipment, SAA furniture, and supplies.
• Assists in renewal and cancellation of office equipment rental and maintenance contracts.
• Performs the receiving process for PGDM and other SAA departments and advises on receipt status.
• Locates material in the warehouse using pick tickets and ensures correct staging and storage.
• Updates inventory system, tracks invoices, POs, and contracts; prepares reports.
• Handles flag processes with Senate customers and related offices to manage billing and delivery.
