Job summary

National Capitol Contracting LLC in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Logistics Operations Lead to oversee all aspects of event logistics for government-sponsored meetings and conferences. This onsite role requires coordinating EMS schedules, room setups, furniture, AV, and vendor coordination to ensure seamless service delivery.

You will supervise Logistics Technicians, work with Conference Services staff, and contribute to process improvements, floor plans, and post-event evaluations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years demonstrated experience in meeting logistics and/or facility services (and/or call center operations).
• Familiarity with government contracts preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors EMS twice daily to review event schedules, requirements, and service orders.
• Oversees setup of conference rooms per Event Intake Forms and floor layouts.
• Directs full lifecycle of logistics for conferences, including furniture, storage, and water service.
• Determines when rooms should be taken out of service due to logistics or infrastructure issues.
• Reviews post-event evaluations and ensures compliance with Logistics SOP.
• Notifies service center when furniture or equipment requires repair.
