Job summary

Intuit Careers is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to deliver full-service tax preparation, expert advice, and software support at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will engage with clients in person and virtually, handling complex and simple tax scenarios while expanding local client relationships.

You will collaborate with a wider team offering bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services, and you will be actively involved in community

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Must have an active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients for personal and business income.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base and organize events.
• Develop relationships and connect clients to the full Intuit ecosystem of services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional conduct and clear guidance.
