Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a campus of R&D/Pharmaceutical facilities in North Wales, PA. This is a fully onsite role, Monday–Friday, with accountability for safety, maintenance, and client relationships.

You will supervise staff, manage schedules, coordinate repairs, monitor budgets, and drive operational improvements while ensuring compliance with regulations and CBRE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of related facilities management experience.
• Experience with Life Sciences/R&D laboratory facilities is preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, scheduling, and supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of EH&S procedures and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations for staff.
• Schedule daily activities, assign tasks, and maintain project deadlines.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and address unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects and operating budgets.
• Conduct facility inspections and identify efficiency improvements.
• Lead vendor relationships and review quotes for parts and services.
• Deliver training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
• Model CBRE values and drive teamwork to meet objectives.
