Job summary

Meduit is seeking a Legal Account Representative to be onsite at our Indianapolis location to engage with consumers and resolve outstanding balances through clear communication, real-time documentation, and accurate data entry. The role offers a typical 8am–4:30pm schedule at 8085 Knue Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250, with a base rate of $18 per hour and potential for a monthly bonus.

You will work in the Litigation department reporting to the Director of Collections and join a team focused on

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound calls and perform outbound calls to consumers.
• Educate the consumer on their current situation and try to resolve the debt balance.
• Coordinate payment arrangements.
• Communicate with internal team for items to be processed through the court system.
• Take notes while on the phone.
• Update account statuses, dispositions, and payment arrangements.
• Research accounts as necessary - EOBs, insurance, previous activity.
