Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Romulus, MI is seeking an entry-level Learning Specialist to support onboarding and frontline training across local locations. You will help deliver instructor-led sessions and reinforce customer experience standards through coaching and feedback.

You will coordinate training logistics, track participation, and partner with site leaders, HR, and operations to identify training needs. This role offers practical learning exposure in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Education, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in training, customer service, operations, or learning support.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite training programs for frontline employees and managers.
• Onboarding and new hire training at the location level.
• Coordinate training logistics and learning activities at assigned locations.
• Facilitate instructor-led training.
• Observe employee performance and reinforce training and customer experience standards through coaching and feedback.
• Partner with site leaders, HR, and operations teams to support training needs.
• Assist in tracking training participation and completion.
• Collect training feedback and share field insights with the learning team.
