Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Chicago, IL is seeking an entry-level Learning Specialist to support onboarding, role-based and customer-experience training across field locations. This onsite role helps reinforce continuous learning and translate training into consistent frontline performance.

You'll lead onsite programs for frontline employees and managers, coordinate logistics at assigned locations, and partner with site leaders and HR to assess needs. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in training, customer service, operations, or learning support.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% to support field locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite training programs for frontline employees and managers.
• Onboarding and new hire training at the location level.
• Coordinate training logistics and learning activities at assigned locations.
• Facilitate instructor-led training.
• Observe employee performance and reinforce training and customer experience standards through coaching and feedback.
• Partner with site leaders, HR, and operations teams to support training needs.
• Track training participation and completion.
• Collect training feedback and share field insights with the learning team.
