Job summary

UChicago Medicine in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Supply Chain Inventory Planner to oversee planning, ordering, receiving, and stocking inventory for designated areas at our Hyde Park campus. This is a 100% onsite role based in the greater Chicagoland area.

You will analyze usage, stock levels, and cost effectiveness, forecast demand, coordinate with nursing and OR teams, and drive lean improvements while maintaining daily logs and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• High adaptability and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, receive, and stock inventory for designated areas.
• Forecast usage and cost analyses to optimize inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Nursing, OR, Procedural Areas, and Clinical Labs on stock and backorders.
• Perform data analysis to monitor KPIs and support cost savings initiatives.
• Support lean improvement activities and standard work within Supply Chain.
