Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Associate to provide on-site inventory management support for hospitals in the Central Pennsylvania area. You will collaborate with medical staff to optimize medical product inventory using the PANDAC system, performing weekly counts and maintaining accurate records.

The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with prior experience in healthcare logistics and LEAN methods preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or relevant work experience.
• LEAN or project/organizational management experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory management software and MS Office.
• Experience in healthcare surgical services and/or logistics materials management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs weekly PANDAC physical inventory counts for wound closure products at designated stocking locations.
• Identifies excess inventory and processes returns according to account procedures.
• Maintains stocking locations and ensures accurate SKU location and weekly counts.
• Prepares quarterly reports and suggests storage optimizations and reductions of excess inventory.
• Uploads end-of-quarter counts to the PANDAC server within one week after counts.
• Performs regular data file backups and maintains records for audits.
• Provides customer service and communications with department managers and nursing staff.
• Provides coverage for teammate accounts.
