Job summary

Frederick Fox is seeking a Senior Superintendent to act as the primary field leader on commercial construction projects in Falls Church, VA. You will direct onsite workflow, manage execution to schedule, and uphold safety, quality, and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in construction leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to organize people, resources, and priorities in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience as a Superintendent or senior leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of safety and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary onsite leader for assigned commercial projects.
• Direct daily site activities per schedule and established quality standards.
• Coordinate resources and communicate priorities to staff and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain project schedule with Project Manager.
• Maintain daily logs and manage punch lists and closeout.
• Ensure safety and quality standards on site.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor the onsite project team.
