Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Test Engineer Development - Mechanical to support R&D activities for medical-device subsystems. You will create and refine prototypes, develop test fixtures, execute tests, and provide feedback on manufacturability and design robustness.

The role involves setup of test methods, documentation, and cross-functional teamwork to meet project milestones. You will read drawings, CAD models, and BOMs, work with various engineering disciplines, and help maintain an organized lab

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in mechanical engineering technology or related field; 3+ years in a hands-on technical role preferred.
Experience with SolidWorks, GD&T, tolerance stack-up concepts, and mechanical test equipment.

Responsibilities

Support R&D activities for capital equipment, instruments, and related medical-device subsystems.
Create, modify, and test mechanical/electromechanical prototypes and fixtures.
Set up and execute design verification, reliability, and process validation tests.
Coordinate prototype builds and test setups with cross-functional teams.
