Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Construction Superintendent for a 100% on-site role. Initial orientation will be in Overland Park, KS. Prior union management experience is preferred and millwright superintendent experience is desirable.

You will interface with direct hire supervision and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance while mentoring field staff and coordinating with multiple disciplines to meet project commitments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
• Valid Driver's License.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site supervision and craft adhere to safety, quality, ethical standards, lessons learned and performance management programs.
• Monitor CPM schedule and report progress of schedule activities and installations.
• Coordinate with craft/subcontractors/superintendents to resolve issues related to drawings, schedule, quality and safety.
• Mentor and train other discipline superintendents; support continuous improvement and change management.
