Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an experienced Infrastructure Technician III to lead advanced cabling and ICT installations at client sites. You will install, test, and troubleshoot complex systems including fiber and copper networks, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

The role emphasizes deep knowledge of TIA/BICSI standards, high-precision fusion splicing, and thorough documentation to support project execution in data center and enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Senior Infrastructure Technician III with deep expertise in structured cabling, fiber optics, and ICT systems.
• In-depth knowledge of TIA/BICSI standards and ICT best practices.
• Experience with fiber fusion splicing and high strand ribbon fiber testing/termination.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite teams to ensure safety, quality, and production standards.
• Install, test, and document structured cabling and network infrastructure.
• Perform fusion splicing, copper/fiber termination, and testing with Fluke DSX8000/OTDR.
• Mentor Technicians I & II and coordinate workflows to meet schedule.
• Provide clear status updates and deliver world-class documentation.
